I have my PetRescue product, what do I do now?
Visit www.petrescue.nl. Please enter your email address and mobile phone number at the “Do you have a PetRescue tag?” section. Tick the General Terms box and activate your account. You will immediately receive your activation link and PIN by email. Go back to the PetRescue website and login (in the upper left corner)and continue by filling out your pet's details. Already signed in to your account? Then just accept the general terms of use and register your PetRescue tag. You can also activate your PetRescue tag by phone: 0(031)887776640.


I did not receive the email confirmation of my activation.
Check if the email went into your spambox, if not, try to create a new account by entering your mobile number and email adres. If your account already exist you will receive an error. Please click then on the forgot my PIN link. If you still don't receive your PIN please send us an email to info@petrescue.nl.


What is a PetRescue ID?
The PetRescue ID is the unique 8-digit code on the pet tag. By filling out your contact details, you connect the PetRescue ID to your phone number(s) and email address.


Can I also change my details while being abroad?
Yes, you can by visiting www.PetRescue.nl or calling +31887776640 (international charges apply).


Are the tags for individual use only?
The PetRescue tags are connected to the (contact) details that you provide. You can always change these details and use the PetRescue product for a different pet, for free!.


What is a PetRescue membership?
With every PetRescue tag you get a free one year membership. This membership will automatically expire after one year and you will be notified to make sure that you can renew your membership in time. You can renew your membership for just € 5,- per PetRescue product per year.


I want to cancel my PetRescue membership
By removing the PetRescue ID from your account (by clicking the red cross next to the relevant PetRescue ID) you remove all relevant information attached to the PetRescue product. The membership however, will still continue until the expiration date. You can reactivate the PetRescue product at any given time by again adding the relevant PetRescue ID to your account. In your PetRescue account you can also permanently delete your PetRescue account.


How do I renew my membership?
Soon you can easily renew your PetRescue memebership by logging into your account and click on the renew button. You can find this link next to the expiration date of your current membership. You can renew your membership for only € 5,- per PetRescue product per year.

PetRescue is a service provided by redDog Travel Support Nederland BV. Next to PetRescue, redDog offers a range of versatile services for active travellers and sporters. For more information please visit www.redDog.nl.


I found a PetRescue product lying on the street, what do I do now?
If you have found a PetRescue tag on the street, the best thing you can do is call the PetRescue phone number on the product. If the PetRescue product has been registered, you will automatically be connected to the concerned owner.


Can I test PetRescue myself?
Of course you can test PetRescue yourself by calling 0(031)887776644. This is great way to be sure that the contact information that your provided is valid. The service number is a 088-number, which means that the calling costs are the same for calling a (Dutch) landline. If you call from abroad, international charges apply. If you want to test PetRescue, The best way to test is to use a phone number that you have not listed in your account, because in most cases, it is not possible to connect your call to the phone number you are calling from.


Do I have to wait for the PetRescue tag before I can register my details?
Yes. In order to activate your pet tag you will have to register the unique 8-digit code in your PetRescue account. After connecting your contact information to the PetRescue ID, your product is ready for use.


Is it obligatory to publish my holiday and personal details online?
No. You can choose which information you want to fill out and publish online for possible finders. Publishing your holiday address can be useful if you will not be within reach by phone all the time. Locals can find your information online at www.PetRescue.nl with the necessary 8-digit code if you choose to publish this information. They can bring back your pet to your residence or hotel, even before you might have noticed it went for a walk.


Wat does PetRescue do with my personal information?
Nothing. The information that you provide will only be used to make sure that you and your pet are back together as soon as possible, in the case that you lost sight of each other for a moment.
